s5cmd is a fast and simple command-line tool that helps you move files to and from cloud storage. It works like a supercharged version of copy and paste, but for huge amounts of data sitting in the cloud.
s5cmd uses DiskSpace object storage as its main workspace, letting you quickly upload, download, or sync folders between your computer and the cloud without slowing down. Because it speaks directly to DiskSpace, it can handle thousands of files at once much faster than regular tools.
This makes s5cmd especially useful for backups, moving big datasets, or sharing large files with teammates who all connect to the same S3 storage.
